A top AEW star has commented on winning a 2022 ESPN wrestling award.
On Wednesday, December 28, ESPN posted an article revealing the winners of the 2022 wrestling awards.
ESPN NHL writer and wrestling fan Greg Wyshynski posted the article to Twitter where AEW World Champion MJF responded to it.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman asked if he was getting a plaque for his win of the “Promo Artist of the Year” award, replying:
“Am I getting a f*****g plaque for this bulls*** or what?”
In reply to Friedman, Wyshynski replied:
“Best I can do is a DVD copy of “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch” with a picture hanger on the back.”
MJF, not one for that prize, simply responded with “Go to hell Greg.”
The AEW World Champion is currently embroiled in a feud with Bryan Danielson since betraying and laying out William Regal one month ago.
