AEW star and former World Champion Chris Jericho has made a huge donation to Damar Hamlin’s Toy Drive following the athlete’s sudden injury.
The Buffalo Bills player suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals last night (January 2).
Following the incident, people around the world took notice of the fact that Hamlin sponsored a toy drive on GoFundMe, and thousands donated to it in the hours following the player’s collapse.
One such person was Chris Jericho, who donated a stunning $10,000 to the cause.
While the drive originally intended to raise just $2,500, thanks to the donations of people like Jericho it has already surpassed $3.5 million.
Jericho is known for donating substantial amounts of money to various worthy causes, with many going unacknowledged due to the Ocho’s habit of not advertising his good deeds.
At time of writing, Hamlin is currently in critical condition after spending the night in a hospital intensive care unit. His family has thanked the player’s fans for their support.
We at WrestleTalk would like to wish Hamlin a speedy recovery.
