A huge rematch is set to headline MLW SuperFight 2023.
Major League Wrestling will present MLW SuperFight 2023 on February 4 from Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.
MLW has announced that Alexander Hammerstone will defend the MLW World Championship against former champion Jacob Fatu at the event next month. This will mark the rematch between the two men after Hammerstone defeated Fatu to become the champion back at MLW Fightland on October 2, 2021.
Jacob Fatu earned this opportunity by winning the BATTLE RIOT IV in New York City last year to secure this title shot.
MLW released the following statement on their website:
The biggest rivalry in MLW is finally getting the rematch to the biggest title fight in MLW history as Hammerstone vs. Fatu 2 is set to main event SuperFight’23, an event worthy of such a colossal championship clash.
