A former WWE star would consider going to AEW.
Nia Jax was released by WWE in November 2021, but ended up making a surprise return to the company at WWE Royal Rumble 2023 in the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Jax had stepped away from wrestling following her release and hadn’t made any appearance outside of the Rumble.
During a K&S virtual signing, Jax was asked if she would consider signing with All Elite Wrestling. She answered:
“I actually would. I keep getting asked that question, and I usually say no, but I actually would. I’m really good friends with Saraya, I love what she’s doing there. I recently met Nyla Rose. It would be kind of cool and add something different.”
Saraya signed with AEW in September 2022 and made her in-ring return for the first time since 2017 at Full Gear 2022 against Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
The former Paige has since started The Outcasts stable with Toni Storm and Ruby Soho. The group is currently feuding with the AEW originals and homegrown stars, including Baker, Riho and AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter.
