WWE has announced the in-ring return of Matt Riddle, following his return on the April 3 edition of WWE Raw.
On Monday’s show, Riddle confronted The Miz, before dropping the A-Lister following a brief physical exchange.
WWE has now announced that Riddle and The Miz will face off in singles action on next week’s (April 10) episode of Raw.
This will be Riddle’s first match since unsuccessfully challenging for The Usos’ WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Kevin Owens on the December 5 Raw episode.
Riddle was notably attacked by Solo Sikoa after this bout, and stretchered out of the arena.
The Sikoa attack was a way to write him off TV as he was reportedly suspended for failing a drug test and had to attend rehab.
Kevin Owens has since won the WWE tag title, alongside Sami Zayn.
The duo defeated The Usos for the gold in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Saturday.
A Women’s Tag Team Championship bout has also been announced for the April 10 edition of Raw, with Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriquez slated to challenge for Becky Lynch & Lita’s gold, following their #1 contender’s match victory.
