In a big closing match on AEW Dynamite (April 12) Keith Lee took on Chris Jericho in hard hitting action that had a shocking conclusion.
In AEW Dynamite’s main event, Keith Lee took on Chris Jericho after their contemptuous backstage interaction last week.
With Keith Lee seemingly close to capturing a victory over Chris Jericho, instead he was attacked at ringside by a masked assailant who looked shockingly similar to Swerve Strickland.
After Jericho finished the match and captured the pinfall victory but the angle wasn’t over yet as they were soon joined by someone else.
Adam Cole made a ring entrance to check on Keith Lee and much the same to the previous angle between Jericho and Cole where he refused to turn to look at him, Cole was identically dismissive.
Elsewhere in Cody Rhodes references on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a wrestling legend name dropped him amongst other names during an in-ring segment. Click here to read more about that.
