Mercedes Mone has now commented on the amount of money she’s currently making, amid her current run with NJPW and STARDOM.
After walking out on WWE in May 2022, Mone made her NJPW debut in January, targeting KAIRI.
The former ‘Sasha Banks’ defeated KAIRI the next month for the IWGP Women’s Championship, a title sanctioned by both NJPW and STARDOM.
Despite leaving WWE, Mone doesn’t seem to be strapped for cash, with the popular star taking to Twitter to note:
I’m richer than I’ve ever been and I love that for me 😍😍 #moné
There have been conflicting reports about how much Mone is being paid by NJPW, with Mone reportedly paid per appearance.
Between previous money from WWE, current wrestling paydays and money from her acting ventures, Mone’s statement about her bank account isn’t that hard to believe.
Mone will defend her IWGP Women’s Title against Mayu Iwatani this Sunday at Stardom All Star Grand Queendom.
Ahead of the event, Mone has addressed rumors about her contract status, which you can read about right here.
Trinity Fatu (Naomi) has also reacted to reports about her wrestling future.
I’m richer than I’ve ever been and I love that for me 😍😍 #moné
