An AEW star is set to make their debut with an independent promotion.
On the April 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, Roderick Strong made his shocking debut with the company to help make the save for Adam Cole, Bandido and Orange Cassidy from the Jericho Appreciation Society.
This marked Strong’s departure from WWE after spending nearly eight years with the promotion.
The following week, Strong made his in-ring debut, teaming with Cole, Cassidy and Bandido to defeat Jericho Appreciation Society’s Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, “Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard and “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker.
On May 7, Wrestling Revolver announced that Roderick Strong will make his debut for the promotion at their upcoming Cage Of Horrors event on July 1.
As previously reported, Strong has also been announced for his debut at Prestige Wrestling coming up on June 18.
The card for next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
No Holds Barred – Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay
Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends
AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rey Fenix
