Over the past few months, a mysterious figure has been attacking various women in and around the NXT parking lot.
The attacks began with Nikkita Lyons when she suffered her injury earlier this year, and the attacks have continued with names such as Wendy Choo, Sol Ruca and most recently Roxanne Perez being attacked.
Many have suspected the assailant to be Blair Davenport, who has not appeared on NXT television since the NXT World’s Collide show last September.
Blair was one of many former NXT UK names who had to work out Visa issues before moving over to the States full-time, with the other names such as Tyler Bate, Nathan Frazer and Gallus already returning to NXT television.
Speaking at the NXT Battleground media call, Shawn Michaels was asked about Blair’s status amid the rumours of her return.
Shawn said that there is interest to bring her back into the fold, and that they have reached out to her, but it’s ultimately up to her if or when she wants to move over to the United States full-time.
The card for NXT Battleground on Sunday, May 28 is as follows:
NXT Championship – Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Bron Breakker
NXT Women’s Championship – Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton
Heritage Cup Championship – Noam Dar (c) vs. Dragon Lee
NXT Tag Team Championship – Mark Coffey & Wolfgang (c) vs. Brutus & Julius Creed
North American Championship – Wes Lee (c) vs. Joe Gacy vs. Tyler Bate
Last Man Standing – Dijak vs. Ilja Dragunov
I ask Shawn if there’s any updates on Blair Davenport coming to NXT (state side) officially.
He says there’s interest to bring in Blair and they’ve reached out to her, but ultimately it’s up to her if and when she wants to make the jump on a full-time basis.
