Former ROH World Champion Rush officially became All Elite last year after he made several appearances for the company.
Despite appearing for AEW, Rush remains an active member of the AAA roster, but that may no longer be the case.
Per Rush’s Facebook page (via luchablog on Twitter), Rush announced that he and his father La Bestia del Ring have quit the promotion, and are back to being independents.
Rush was scheduled to team alongside LA Park against Psycho Clown and Sam Adonis at TripleMania 31 in Tijuana, with the losing team set to face off against each other in a Mask vs Hair match at TripleMania Mexico City.
Rush last appeared on the May 26 episode of AEW Rampage, where he teamed with Dralistico and Preston Vance in a losing effort to the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
Rush recently faced off against Jack Perry on AEW Dynamite, a match which led to his manager, Jose the Assistant, branding him ‘too dangerous for television’ on last week’s Dynamite.
Another AEW star made a surprise AAA appearance recently, and will face off with another AEW star at TripleMania, which you can see here.
