WWE stars Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan have been replaced by some notable names in an upcoming Mildred Burke biopic movie.
‘Queen of the Ring: Based on the True Story of Mildred “Millie” Burke’ will focus on the life and career of inaugural NWA Women’s Champion Mildred Burke, an influential name in women’s wrestling who was often celebrated for her work from the 1930s to the mid-1950s.
Charlotte Flair was originally set to play June Byers in the biopic, one of Burkes notable rivals.
PWInsider now reports that current NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille has now replaced Flair in the film. The reason for Flair leaving the project is reportedly unclear.
Kamille has now taken to X (Twitter) with photos from the set, confirming that she will play June Byers, which you can see below.
Kamille captioned the post:

PWInsider also reported that Liv Morgan has also been replaced in the film, with AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm now set to star as Clara Mortensen.
The independent movie is written and directed by Ash Avildsen.
Shooting for the movie began in June, and was expected to continue through ‘at least late July’.
Flair is currently preparing to challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship in three-way action at SummerSlam 2023.
