New Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions were crowned at WWE Payback last weekend, when Finn Balor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to capture the titles.
Winning the championship now entitles the Judgment Day the privilege of appearing on not only Raw, but also SmackDown due to the championship floating between brands.
WWE has wasted no time in booking Balor and Priest for the blue brand, as the pair are set for action on tonight’s (September 8) WWE SmackDown show, taking on Ridge Holland and Butch of the Brawling Brutes.
Also set for the show is a tag team match pitting WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY and Bayley against Shotzi and Charlotte Flair, as well as AJ Styles facing off with Jimmy Uso.
The Judgment Day will be without Rhea Ripley on tonight’s show, as she is in India after competing at WWE Superstar Spectacle earlier today.
