Eddie Kingston became the new ROH World Champion back at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam last week, when he finally defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the title.
The victory over Claudio puts to end a 15 year rivalry between the two men, with Kingston set to move on to face Katsuyori Shibata at AEW WrestleDream on October 1.
Following the show, Kingston has his eyes set on an underutilised AEW star, that being ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.
In an interview with CeeHawk (via Fightful), Kingston has said that Page is ‘on his radar’ now he is the ROH World Champion.
Page saw Kingston’s comments, responding:
No sh*t I’m on his radar I beat him
Page defeated Kingston on the November 9 episode of AEW Dynamite in the first round of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament.
Page faced off with AEW World Champion MJF on the June 29 episode of Collision.
Since then, he has mostly featured on ROH on Honor Club, most recently defeating Rohit Raju on the tapings at Collision this past Saturday (September 23).
Page recently uploaded a video to social media asking ‘what now’ and claiming that he ‘doesn’t even know who he is’ anymore, which you can see here.
