With CM Punk turning 45 on October 26, several of his former AEW colleagues have taken time to send him happy birthday wishes on social media.
Although Punk and AEW’s relationship ended in a controversial manner, he did make a positive impression with many in the locker room.
Following Andrade El Idolo wishing Punk a happy birthday on Twitter, many others have not shied away from doing the same, this time on Instagram.
Diamante posted to her Instagram story with a picture of herself along with Punk taken backstage at AEW Collision, with a heartwarming bit of backstory from the image, saying:
Happy birthday @cmpunk! The only reason this picture exists is cause you walked up to me when I was trying to get outta your way and you included me in your photoshoot. Meant a lot then still means a lot now. Appreciate you big homie! Also sending well wishes to Larry
The House of Black’s Buddy Matthews also posted to his IG story with a picture of himself, Malakai Black, Brody King and Punk along with the caption:
House of Punk
Happy Birthday member @cmpunk
While fellow House of Black member Brody King also joined in on the act posting a picture of himself and Punk, saying:
Happy Birthday old man Logan
