A new report has revealed the latest on CM Punk following his appearance backstage at the December 12 edition of WWE NXT.
At NXT Deadline 2023, CM Punk made a special appearance to open the show with Shawn Michaels.
Punk’s appearance served as a way for him to appear on the NXT brand ahead of this week’s Raw, where he would decide which of the three brands he would opt to sign with, with Punk ultimately choosing Raw.
Punk enjoyed his time with the NXT talent so much that he was reportedly backstage working with the developmental brand’s stars during the December 12 episode.
Per PWInsider, CM Punk was once again at the WWE Performance Center on December 13 to train and hold court with some of the NXT talents.
The report notes that there was a massive genuine excitement at the PC when Punk surprised everyone by showing up and spending the day with talents.
Punk’s first match since his WWE return has now been announced, which you can see here.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on CM Punk’s WWE whereabouts when they become available.
