The NJPW debut match for Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) following his WWE release has been officially announced.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler was among those released from WWE back on September 21, with his 90 day non-compete expiring in December.
Following his free agency, Ziggler made his debut for NJPW under his real name Nic Nemeth, where he shot an angle with new IWGP Global Champion David Finlay.
Finlay became the inaugural IWGP Global Champion with a victory over Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley in a three-way at Wrestle Kingdom 18, before he confronted Nemeth at ringside.
Now, NJPW has officially announced the debut match for Nemeth, which will indeed be against David Finlay for the IWGP Global Championship at the New Beginning in Sapporo show on December 23.
The show is also set to see the NJPW debut of Matt Riddle, when he faces Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NJPW Television Championship.
Another major match has been announced for an upcoming NJPW show involving Bryan Danielson, which you can see here.
