Current two-time AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy wants to give himself Los Angeles Dodgers player, “Shohei Ohtani” money.
In December 2023, Shohei Ohtani made history by signing and agreeing to a 10-year deal to play for the MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers for $700 million throughout the entire agreement.
This kind of money is insane in Major League Baseball and would be even crazier in the world of professional wrestling.
In a new interview with Adrian Hernandez, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy was asked which wrestler he would give that kind of money to. He answered:
“Orange Cassidy. What other pick? Who am I supposed to say, Will Ospreay? I’m me. I’ll take it. If you put value on yourself.”
Orange Cassidy is set to defend the AEW International Championship against Roderick Strong on March 3 at AEW Revolution.
