The first qualifying matches for the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match will take place on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
The February 9 edition of WWE SmackDown will feature the fallout from the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference that featured The Rock, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
With Elimination Chamber mere weeks away, the card will continue to take shape on tonight’s broadcast.
According to WrestleVotes, tonight’s SmackDown will feature the announcement for the Men’s Elimination Chamber that will determine the number one contender for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. The post reads:
Tonight on SmackDown we’ll get news on the World Heavyweight Championship match heading into WrestleMania. Rollins will defend the title against the winner of an Elimination Chamber match.
Qualifying matches that begin tonight are: AJ Styles vs Drew McIntyre & Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn.
The first qualifying matches will see AJ Styles facing Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton going one-on-one with Sami Zayn in a pair of Raw vs. SmackDown bouts.
