Cody Rhodes has sent an inspirational message ahead of his two main event matches at WWE WrestleMania 40.
A year on from his crushing defeat in the main event of WrestleMania 39, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes finally has the chance to finish his story in Philadelphia.
While the last 12 months have been trying for Cody and his fans, it has been far from the only time the second-generation star has had to face adversity in his career.
A user on Twitter acknowledged this, posting a reflection of how far Cody had come in the last decade- from having his match cut at WrestleMania 29, to main eventing the show a decade later.
This caught the attention of Cody, who posted a motivational message to his followers saying:
Know your value
But beyond that, dig in and do the work and don’t turn a blind eye to valid criticism
We play in a game where you should constantly improve and seek that final form
Cody will team with Seth Rollins to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night One, before then challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on Night Two.
In other WrestleMania news, a handful of WWE stars have made their pitch for a big match at the two-night event, follow this link for full details.
