A WWE star has been announced for a major upcoming independent wrestling event over WrestleMania 40 week in Philadelphia.
It was reported earlier today by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that WWE stars were set to appear at this year’s GCW Bloodsport event over WrestleMania week in Philadelphia.
Josh Barnett, the event’s promoter, then teased a major announcement in regards to the show for today at 12pm PST.
The announcement was confirmation that WWE’s Shayna Baszler, a protegee of Barnett’s, making an appearance at the event on April 4.
He tweeted:

The Warmaster’s disciple, “The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler, comes to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport X.
The event will also feature former WWE stars Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) and Timothy Thatcher in action.
