A big update has emerged on Karrion Kross’ WWE status, with his and Scarlett’s contracts reportedly set to expire this week.
Fightful Select previously reported that Kross and Scarlett’s contracts are up this weekend, with a WWE higher-up telling Fightful that the duo hadn’t been offered new contracts at the time of writing (August 5)
In a new update, Dave Meltzer reports that Kross has been offered a new contract by WWE.
Meltzer noted the following on Wrestling Observer Radio:
“I was told that the story about him not being signed to a (new) contract is legit, but he did get an offer.
“I was told that he has gotten an offer, I don’t expect him to go anywhere.”

Neither Kross or Scarlett were backstage for the August 4 Raw episode.
