10. Kalisto Gets Stuck – Elimination Chamber 2015
The top of an Elimination Chamber pod is prime real estate for a high flying wrestler, it’s like the Mayfair on a Monopoly board, actually maybe the top of a ladder is Mayfair, this can be Parkway or wherever is second highest on your regional variant board mostly American viewership – Dollarington, North Carolina, I dunno.
With high risk comes high reward but also a much greater velocity at which to crash and or burn. As Kalisto found out in the first ever tag team Elimination Chamber match in 2015. Kalisto’s Lucha Dragons partner Sin Cara’s botch luck clearly rubbed off in the pod as when scaling the New Day’s pod for a cool spot where they dragged his feet through the chains on top to trap him – they actually just trapped him for realsies.
Kalisto could not get himself free for a good few minutes missing a spot with Sin Cara where they were meant to hit stereo swanton bombs off of their pods and leaving his fellow Dragon to fly alone.
