10 Greatest Hell In A Cell Matches In WWE History

8. MANKIND VS. KANE (Raw 1998)

A forgotten classic from Raw, this scintillating clash was WWE’s flagship show at its raucous best. Foley’s ongoing quest to maim himself for his art continued as he put his body through more brutal punishment, taking a tumble from the Cell through the announce table and allowing Kane to repeatedly blast him in the head with unprotected chair shots. The ridiculous DQ finish aside, this was everything you would want from a Cell match in terms of drama and violence. The closing sequence where Steve Austin appeared from under the ring to leather Kane while his SummerSlam ‘98 opponent Undertaker was trapped atop the Cell as it ascended to the rafters, was over-the-top Attitude Era drama at its finest.
