20 Names Who Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

12. Rob Van Dam

WWE Tenure: 2001-2007 and 2013-2014 (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 1x WWE Championship, 1x ECW World Championship, 4x Hardcore Championships, 6x Intercontinental Championship, 1x European Championship, 1x WWE Tag Team Championship, 2x WWE World Tag Team Championship and 1x Money In The Bank Winner

RVD is a former WWE Champion in his own right and was one of the most over guys in the company during this stay with the promotion. Whilst his issues with marijuana might have put a halt to his WWE title run, WWE cannot overlook the accomplishments of the former ECW superstar, and RVD deserves to be in the Hall of Fame as a result.

11. Sable

WWE Tenure: 1996-1999 and 2003-2004 (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 1x Women’s Championship

Don’t get me wrong, Sable was a terrible wrestler. However, very few people were as over as Sable during the late 1990s, WWE basically brought back the WWE Women’s Championship just for Sable. She was a proven draw and managed to get more people into arenas than the majority of people on the roster, regardless of gender. She was a genuine star and a real asset for the company and whilst in hindsight her run was not the most PG, she should definitely be acknowledged by the WWE with a Hall of Fame induction in the future.

10. Sycho Sid

WWE Tenure: 1991-1992 and 1995-1999 (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 2x WWE Championship and 2x WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Whilst Jinder Mahal might have held the WWE Championship in 2017, during the 1990s the title was much more prestigious and any champion from that era has to be considered for a Hall of Fame induction. Sid was Vince McMahon’s kind of guy: he was tall, muscular and looked like an absolute beast. Whilst not the greatest promo, Sid was at the top of the card for most of his two runs with WWE, as well as during his time with WCW, and as such should certainly be considered for an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, especially considering they’ve inducted guys like Koko B. Ware.

9. Eric Bischoff

WWE Tenure: 2002-2007 (Raw General Manager)

Notable Accomplishments: Ummmmm… General Manager of Raw?

Eric Bischoff’s best work came outside of the WWE, particularly in WCW where he was instrumental in their 84-week winning streak over Raw in the ratings. Bischoff was such a threat to WWE that Vince McMahon had to step up his game which caused WWE to overtake WCW in the ratings and eventually purchase the company. Bischoff changed the wrestling landscape arguably more than anyone else and caused WWE to up their game due to the threat of WCW. Whilst it might be controversial (quite apt), Bischoff does deserve a Hall of Fame induction.
