Honorary Mention – Seth Rollins & Riddle

I thought I’d give these guys their own special page before getting into the rest of the list, because they DID have a match on SummerSlam, but creative plans have led to it being changed.

WWE announced an injury to Riddle, which is believed to be a fake injury, and Seth Rollins and Triple H had an interaction on Twitter that definitely made it seem like the whole reason for this change was that it was a purposeful attempt from Triple H to babyface himself to kick off his new role.

Fightful reported that the plan was changed to hold this match at Clash at the Castle instead, which takes place in Cardiff on September 3.

Either way, it seems like these two might miss out on SummerSlam despite their feud on Raw throughout the past few weeks, and that’s worthy of a mention on this list.

There is plenty of speculation, though, that Rollins could do something to still get on the show – with one of the more popular fan theories being him getting involved in Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns in some way or another.
