6 Matches To Be Added To WWE AAA TripleMania 34

On September 11 and 13, WWE AAA will present this year’s TripleMania 34 premium live event across two nights in Las Vegas and Mexico City.

Just over a month away from the two-night show, there are a number of matches that might be announced over the next few weeks for this major event.

From title matches to feuds coming to an end, these matches will offer a conclusion to many of the stories that are currently going on in AAA right now.

Here are six potential matches to be added to WWE AAA TripleMania 34.

AAA Latin American Championship Fatal 4 Way Match: El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr vs. La Parka vs. Cruz Del Toro vs. Damian Priest

After competing against Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship on an episode of SmackDown, El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a torn ACL injury preparing for a match in NXT that has led to him being sidelined.

This led to Vikingo being forced to relinquish the AAA Latin American Championship and a tournament being set up to crown a new champion at TripleMania 34.

After this announcement was made, Damian Priest threw his name in the hat to be involved in this tournament to become the new AAA Latin American Champion despite also being the current WWE Tag Team Champion alongside R-Truth.

With El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr already advancing, the former champion could be joined by Priest, Cruz Del Toro and La Parka in the four-way to crown a new champion at WWE AAA TripleMania 34 in September.

WWE & AAA World Tag Team Championships: Damian Priest & R-Truth (WWE) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (AAA) vs. The MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga)

Speaking of Damian Priest, his WWE main roster business could spill over to Lucha Libre AAA.

On the July 31 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Priest and R-Truth faced The War Raiders with the WWE and AAA World Tag Team Championships on the line. However, this bout ended in a no contest after the two teams brawled and were attacked by The MFTs.

With Haku now by their side, it seems like Tama and Talla Tonga want to get their hands on all of the gold in the WWE and AAA tag team divisions.

A three-way WWE and AAA World Tag Team Championships match between Wepa Up, The War Raiders and The MFTs could prove to be a very important bout on the AAA TripleMania 34 card.

Omos vs. Galeno

Upon arriving in Lucha Libre AAA, Galeno immediately aligned himself with his brother El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr by helping him fight off El Ojo.

This led to Galeno going head-to-head with ‘The Nigerian Gian’ Omos. There have been several confrontations between the two men with many fans anticipating when they will meet inside the squared circle.

Considering how long these two have been feuding, it makes sense for WWE AAA to pull the trigger on this bout at a major show like TripleMania 34.

Galeno clashing with Omos should be a high profile bout that will be a battle of behemoths unlike any other match on the WWE AAA TripleMania 34 lineup.

AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship: La Hiedra & Laredo Kid (c) vs. Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice  – If Iguana & Vice lose, they must split)

At the AAA Verano de Escandalo Week 2 event, La Hiedra and Laredo Kid defeated Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice to win the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships.

This bout held an added stipulation that it would be Hiedra’s last opportunity at challenging Iguana and Vice for the gold after several failed attempts.

It only makes sense if Hiedra and Laredo gave Iguana and Vice one more shot at the gold, but this time, there would be some added stakes to this one as well.

Having a stipulation that they must split if they lose, Iguana and Vice could put everything on the line against Laredo and Hiedra for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship at the TripleMania 34 event on September 11 or 13.

Abismo Negro vs. El Fiscal – Mask vs. Mask Match

Over the past few months, Abismo Negro and El Fiscal have been feuding in one of the most bitter and personal rivalries in Lucha Libre AAA.

Fiscal has had animosity towards Negro for feeling like he stole his father’s gimmick and mask after being mentored by the lucha libre legend.

This has led to several battles across AAA on FOX programming and live events, making things feel like they’ve reached a fever pitch.

Fiscal and Negro battling in a Mask vs Mask match could prove to be a bloody and heated war that might be the most memorable bout on the WWE AAA TripleMania 34 card.

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship – Flammer (c) vs. La Catalina

In April, La Catalina left CMLL and went on to sign with WWE AAA, becoming one of the premier female stars in the promotion.

Immediately upon signing with the company, Catalina confronted and stepped up to the current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer during her record-breaking title reign celebration.

While the two women will face Lady Shani in a three-way title bout at Verano de Escandalo, it feels like Catalina and Flammer should continue their rivalry coming out of the upcoming event and heading into WWE AAA TripleMania 34.

Flammer defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Catalina has been well built and feels like a worthy title bout for the biggest event of the year for the company.
