Becky Lynch Opens Up On Current Role On WWE Roster

Becky Lynch has opened up on her current role on the WWE roster following her return on this week’s Raw show.

On this week’s WWE Raw show, Becky Lynch made her return to WWE television after a month away, with her confronting Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on the show.

Becky took aim at the Women’s World Championship after a year of holding and chasing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, where she faced a number of newer faces on the roster such as Maxxine Dupri and Sol Ruca.

Becky Lynch Says She ‘Loves’ Current WWE Roster Role

Speaking on Off The Ball, Becky opened up on her new role on the WWE roster, with her working with and trying to elevate the newer faces on the roster.

She said:

“I love being in that role, and I love working with younger talent and newer talent. “I think that when we came up we were always trying to figure out how to be the main event stars without having worked with anyone who had been in the main event, just because it hadn’t happened.

“So the fact I’ve gotten to do all these things, learned how to be a main event player, and I feel like I can help bring them up. It’s something I would have loved coming up, and all the girls were amazing, they just hadn’t been to the places that we’ve thankfully gone to. So I love being in that role.

“But I think the flip side is that you can’t necessarily always stay there, you have to be able to pivot through them. They get bored if you sit on top of the card, but you can’t stay in the middle of the card too much where then you just become the middle of the card, so you kind of have to come up for air.”

Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins Spend ‘Hours’ Talking About WWE Creative

Speaking later on the show, Becky was asked if her and Seth Rollins talk about wrestling at home, with her saying that they do spend ‘hours’ ‘booking the territory’.

She said:

“All the time. All the time. It’s wonderful. It’s amazing.

“We both love wrestling, we both talk about it, we’re both interested in it, we both spend hours booking the territory.

“He’s got one of the greatest minds in wrestling that I’ve ever met, and outside of wrestling he’s just a great, very intelligent man. So getting to talk about the thing we talk about is just normal.”
