A WWE star has shared an update on a recently sustained injury and a potential indication as to when they’ll be back in the ring.
Having faced Tristan Angels on the July 28 episode of WWE NXT, Shiloh Hill would pick up an injury during that match.
With Hill previously announcing that he had suffered a fracture to a part of the skull called the maxilla, and that it might be a little while before we’d see him in the ring, the NXT star has taken to social media to share a more positive update.
Hill would provide an update on his status on Twitter, sharing:
“Thank you all for all the get well wishes. Recently got some good news, which is that because of the placement of the fracture and how quickly the swelling has gone down.
“I may be back in the ring a little sooner than the Doctor’s initially thought. That being said, don’t miss NXT Live in Melbourne tomorrow and Jacksonville on Saturday.”
A participant in the first two seasons of LFG (Legends & Future Greats), Hill had previously been named the first-ever Mr NXT on the June 9 episode, much to the anger of Angels.
A Sudden Stop For A Rising Star
A product of WWE NIL (Next-In-Line), the star now known as Shiloh Hill is a former college football athlete who came through the A&E scripted reality show LFG to become a name on NXT television.
Having lost a tooth in a childhood incident, Hill was recently gifted a replacement by Danhausen, marking the main roster star’s first appearance on NXT, potentially indicating a level of faith that creatives have in the rising star when it comes to who gets such a moment.
Indeed, his recent matches have all demonstrated a solid body of work growing from a star still relatively early in his career and putting him in a feud with Tristan Angels, himself a name new to NXT fans, helped demonstrate some of the range on offer. With their last match ending in a victory for Hill, there’s the likelihood that the arrogant star will want to rematch, if not another chance at becoming Mr NXT.
What’s to come for Hill remains to be seen, but his in-ring return will no doubt be anticipated. If this week’s NXT is anything to go by, fans can expect to see the star drop into the show to dispense his own thread of wisdom, covering a range of topics.
WrestleTalk wishes Shiloh Hill well in his recovery from injury.
