Dublin PLE A No Brainer Announcement For WWE

One of the hallmarks of WWE under Nick Khan and Triple H’s leadership has been their willingness to branch out into international markets for major premium live events.

As well as the expected yearly Saudi Arabia shows, WWE has, in recent years, visited the likes of Berlin, Paris, Glasgow, London and Turin, with four of those five not before hosting major events before they did between 2024-2026.

While Lynch and Balor’s announcement could be unrelated to a WWE PLE, the company would surely know that expectations for an Ireland PLE will be raised by this tease of a “massive announcement.”

Although WWE recently lost its veteran Irish presence in the locker room: Sheamus, the roster still ha san abundance of talent from the island, including the aforementioned Becky Lynch and Finn Balor, as well as JD McDonagh and Lyra Valkyria.

Whether it be another “Clash” themed PLE or an entirely new event, Irish fans will be eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s news in the hopes that WWE deliver.
