Roman Reigns Confirmed For Major WWE PLE

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has been confirmed for a major WWE Premium Live Event later this year.

Having retained the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns will see a challenger emerge from a “historic tournament” featuring luchadores from Raw, SmackDown and AAA.

Where plans go from there remains to be seen, but Roman Reigns has now been seemingly confirmed for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 28.

Reigns appears on an officially released graphic for the upcoming PLE, holding onto the steel cage that forms part of the WarGames match type.

At the time of writing, Reigns’ role at the Daikin Park, Houston, Texas event is yet to be revealed,

The Schedule Expands For Roman Reigns

With Reigns being a part-time star in WWE, the star had been confirmed for Money in the Bank in October, marking his next major appearance among a number of scheduled appearances on Raw.

There are, no doubt, many challengers for the World Heavyweight Championship, yet there’s no confirmation as to how Reigns will be used on any given appearance.

To date, 2026 has seen Roman Reigns in action five times, with all appearances taking place at PLEs, starting with his men’s Royal Rumble victory in January.

WrestleMania 42 would follow, with Roman Reigns defeating CM Punk to become World Heavyweight Champion, a title he could continue to carry with victories over Jacob Fatu at Backlash in May and then in Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy at the end of that month.

That pretty much brings us to SummerSlam, with Night 2 seeing Roman Reigns retain against Seth Rollins in the main event on August 2.

Even in 2025, Reigns was infrequently in the ring, starting that year with a victory over Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat on the January 6 Netflix premiere of WWE Raw. That would mark his only appearance on a weekly show, with subsequent matches being the men’s Royal Rumble (won by Jey Uso), a Triple Threat loss to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 in April (also featuring CM Punk), a victory over Bronson Reed at August’s Clash in Paris, a loss to Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel in October. His year would end on the losing side of a Survivor Series: WarGames match, teaming with CM Punk, Cody Rhodes & The Usos against Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre & The Vision (Bron Breakker, Logan Paul & Bronson Reed).

No doubt there are big plans afoot for Reigns and the upcoming PLE appearances, potentially with the World Heavyweight Championship still around his waist.
