WWE NXT Star Reacts To Former Tag Team Partner’s Main Roster Call-Up

A WWE NXT star has reacted to their former tag-team partner being called up to the main roster on Friday Night SmackDown.

The latest NXT call-up took place during the main event of the August 7 episode, during Charlotte Flair’s match against Jade Cargill.

Alexa Bliss made her entrance during the closest moments of the match before Tatum Paxley took out Michin and B-Fab.

After Charlotte Flair picked up the victory, she celebrated with Bliss and Paxley in the ring.

Paxley’s former “The Culling” teammate Izzi Dame has now taken to Twitter to react to Paxley’s SmackDown debut.

Starting off in-character, before ultimately revealing her true feelings, Dame wrote:

Thank god?! Finally someone else’s problem to deal with??? Goodbye, farewell, adios, au revoir………………

But I ’m going to miss you so much. 🥲🖤🤞🏼

Paxley and Dame had their own NXT feud, following Dame attacking Paxley in November 2025. Their last televised match against one another saw Paxley retain the Women’s North American Championship in a steel cage bout on March 17.

Tatum Paxley has shared the ring with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair before, ironically teaming with Izzi Dame in a losing effort against the then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at NXT Homecoming in September 2025.

Paxley has since highlighted how much this match this match meant to her and Dame, noting that her idol was Alexa Bliss, and Dame’s was Charlotte Flair.

The former NXT Women’s Champion has commented on her new alliance, tweeting after SmackDown that she loves her new friends.

It will be interesting to see what WWE does next with this trio, both to establish them as a team, and showcase Paxley to the main roster audience.
