With the WWE roster currently stacked with top babyfaces across Raw and SmackDown, it’s only right we see an influx of big heel turns to balance things out.
We’ve already seen this play out with Kevin Owens’ recent turn, giving Cody Rhodes a well-needed foil heading into the new year.
But what other babyfaces could be about to turn to the dark side? Let’s take a look at seven impeding examples.
7. The Street Profits
Kicking things off with a two-for-one special, and Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins showed the first signs of a heel turn on Friday’s SmackDown.
After seeing their must-win WWE Tag Team Championship match with Motor City Machine Guns end in DQ, the Profits refused the sportsmanlike conduct of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin – with Dawkins instead opting to throw a cheap shot on Shelley.
Given the hype that the Profits had built into the encounter ahead of time, and their four-year championship drought it’s easy to understand the frustration.
At this point however, that’s all it was, but expect a full-blown heel turn to come in the next few weeks.
