5. Dolph Ziggler
Unsurprisingly, Dolph Ziggler is the only person on this list that hasn’t been booked into oblivion by WWE, with the company showing him an uncharacteristically large amount of faith in his now nearly 15-year career.
That’s not to say however that there haven’t been times where it’s felt like Dolph is on the verge of leaving WWE and looking for other shores.
Just over a year ago we thought the end might be nigh for Dolph, who was reportedly unhappy with the way that he was being booked, demanding to be used better. It’s hardly a secret that he can go in the ring like almost no-one in the whole company, so you can hardly blame him for wanting a bit more of the spotlight.
Earlier on in this list, we mentioned the tweet that Cody sent to Zack Ryder after Ryder mentioned his lack of Raw appearances, and it just so happens that one Dolph Ziggler also chimed in with his thoughts on the matter.
great call.
But no way he gets that ref…
(maybe tell him to defend himself the way Kevin defended his home, against the wet bandits)— Nic Nemeth (@HEELZiggler) December 28, 2018
“Great call” eh? Could Dolph be thinking the same thing as Zack and a move away from WWE is a perfectly reasonable thing to consider?
Of course, the move would be a risk, particularly for someone who is still used in an upper-mid-card star in WWE. If he were to leave, it would be a huge coup for Cody and pals.
