AEW, WWE
This week’s AEW Dynamite (March 6) kicked off a new era for Tony Khan’s company – with a brand new presentation and some exciting new angles leading into the spicy Spring season.
Most exciting and shocking of all perhaps being the arrival of Kazuchika Okada in AEW. While his signing itself was far from surprising, the manner in which he debuted certainly was – immediately turning heel and aligning himself with The Elite.
And with Mercedes Mone expected to debut with the company at AEW Big Business next week (March 13) it’s certainly an exciting time for AEW.
Although WWE is the juggernaut and of course is enjoying it’s most lucrative period in history right now, the signings of Okada and Mone, as well as Will Ospreay before them certainly solidify the fact that AEW undoubtedly still has great appeal.
So, with that said we’re going to identify seven free agent stars who could also snub WWE and become All Elite instead in the near future.
7. Giulia

While not officially a free agent just yet, the contract of STARDOM’s Giulia is set to run out at the end of this month – leaving her technically free to move elsewhere soon enough.
Similar to others on this list, Giulia has been strongly linked with WWE and appeared to be close to signing with the company, however that has not yet happened and until pen has been put to paper, nothing should be ruled out.
It has been reported that Giulia’s move to WWE has been delayed due to her assisting STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa in starting up his own promotion. So a timeline is not clear as to when the NJPW Strong Women’s Champ will be moving stateside.
Speaking of that title, while Giulia to WWE is expected, she recently called out Mercedes Mone for a title match when The Boss is cleared to compete.
While this could be a one-off, perhaps Giulia will also show up in AEW and confront Mone after she’s signed with the company? Forbidden Door isn’t too far away, it is a possibility. And maybe it could lead to a permanent signing later in the year.
