Predicting The First-Ever AEW Hall Of Fame Class

Predicting The First-Ever AEW Hall Of Fame Class AEW

During a recent interview, AEW President Tony Khan was posed the idea of establishing a Hall of Fame in his company in the future.

While Khan said, he hadn’t discussed the idea, he did also reveal some names he pictures being inducted, should it become a reality.

So, given that its clearly something that Khan has given some thought, we’ve decided to take a look at who could potentially be immortalised in the company’s first-ever class.

Now, who really knows when this hypothetical Hall of Fame will become a reality. Given AEW is still only five years old, one would expect its still perhaps a little while off happening just yet.

But that doesn’t really change the names that will likely make up that very first class, so let’s take a look at seven possible inductees that could make the cut.

7. Sting

Sting AEW

Getting perhaps the most obvious choice out the way first, The Icon Sting is an absolute shoo-in to be AEW’s first Hall of Fame inductee.

Not only did Tony Khan outright say so himself, but given The Stinger’s incredible contribution to the company it’d be impossible not to.

AEW provided Sting the send-off he truly deserved, especially following the disappointing end to his brief WWE spell – but that’s not to say that Sting needed AEW, no no, his legacy was already long, solidified.

In giving his final years to AEW, Sting likely provided the young company and Tony Khan a true pillar of wisdom and respect inside the locker room, something that was no doubt invaluable at points through some rougher spells.

If this one did come to pass it would mark his third Hall of Fame induction, with spots in TNA and WWE’s Hall of Fame already secured. A further indication of his legend if that is at all necessary.
