6. The Briscoes
Another name mentioned by Tony Khan in his comments regarding the AEW Hall of Fame was someone that, he regretfully never managed to get to compete for the promotion: Jay Briscoe.
Despite never competing in AEW though, his legacy is still felt heavily throughout the company – with The Briscoes putting on classics for two decades with some of the top names in the company.
Obviously, through his brother Mark who thankfully has go on to carry the Briscoe name into AEW on his own, but also through the many, many other current talents that Jay worked with.
Despite already holding a place in the Hall of Fame of ROH, it feels highly likely that the pair become two-time Hall of Famers when AEW establishes theirs.
