AEW
On October 2, it was revealed that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster had officially become free agents after their AEW contracts expired.
The Acclaimed were once one of the most popular acts in AEW and now have departed the company.
This should lead some interesting moves being made by Bowens and Caster moving forward.
Here are some potential Anthony Bowens and Max Caster free agency plans after leaving AEW.
Reunite The Acclaimed outside of AEW on the indies

In 2025, The Acclaimed officially broke up as a tag team and went their separate ways.
This led to both men’s careers not really progressing and instead stagnating as singles stars.
While Max Caster became a comedy act with his “Best Wrestler Alive” open challenge, Anthony Bowens got a new look and eventually joined The Opps in 2026.
Considering their careers were never the same separate, The Acclaimed should reunite outside of AEW now that they are free agents.
Max Caster heads to TNA Wrestling to align with AJ Francis
Max Caster has long been known for his charisma and signature rapping persona.
This has led many fans to compare Caster to another well known rapper in wrestling, AJ Francis.
Following the news of The Acclaimed becoming free agents, Francis was quick to quote tweet and propose the duo take an open mic at TNA Bound For Glory 2026.
Alongside Francis, Caster could make some waves in TNA Wrestling in a new tag team.
Anthony Bowens signs with WWE NXT

For years, Anthony Bowens has been seen as an ideal signing for WWE in some form or fashion.
Bowens has always felt like someone who has the potential to excel under the company’s banner.
Now that he is a free agent, Bowens once again has a chance to head to the promotion.
In WWE NXT, Bowens could use his veteran status and different skills to become a major star on Tuesday nights moving forward.
The Acclaimed go straight to the WWE main roster
Over the past few years, WWE has made a habit of signing AEW acts to the company.
From Cody Rhodes to Jade Cargill, these stars did not have to change much when they signed with WWE.
In the same vein, WWE could do the same thing with Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.
With all their success in AEW, The Acclaimed could recapture that magic on the WWE main roster now.
