On the May 23 edition of AAA on FOX, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was named as the new General Manager of Lucha Libre AAA.

Since then, Mysterio has made some promises in press conferences and commentary, including stating that Bad Bunny could make an appearance in the Mexican promotion.

Considering his relationship with WWE in recent years, it feels like Bunny could be on his way to AAA in the near future.

Here are six potential Bad Bunny WWE AAA plans.

6. Facing Off With Omos

Over the past year, Omos has become an overwhelming physical presence for the El Ojo stable in Lucha Libre AAA.

Based on his incredible size, Omos is someone who always grabs the attention of the fans whenever he walks out.

‘The Nigerian Giant’ could find himself becoming a viral star by standing across from a Grammy Award winner.

Bad Bunny being confronted by Omos would be a great way for AAA to cause some waves that will cross over to the mainstream before long.

5. Special Guest Host For TripleMania

There is no denying that Bad Bunny is one of the biggest stars in music and the world right now.

Following his Super Bowl performance, WWE AAA could add some more eyes to its product by just having Bunny present for one of their events.

WWE seems focused on promoting and making this year’s AAA TripleMania events to be among the biggest in the event’s history.

Wanting to bring as many fans as possible to the two-night premium live event, WWE AAA could call upon Bad Bunny to be the special guest host for TripleMania in Las Vegas or Mexico this year.

4. Being In Mr. Iguana & La Parka’s Corner For AAA World Tag Team Championship Match Against The War Raiders

Looking at the entire Lucha Libre AAA roster, Mr Iguana and La Parka have to be one of the most popular pairings in the promotion.

In recent weeks, Parka and Iguana have been on a roll with a series of wins that should put them in line for a shot at the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

At AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, The War Raiders defeated Psycho Clown and Pagano to win the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

Erik and Ivar defending the gold at AAA TripleMania could see them against Iguana and Parka with Bad Bunny in their corner to give them an extra edge for this huge show.

3. Reunion With Damian Priest

On the July 4 edition of AAA on FOX, Rey Mysterio finally revealed the former WWE World Champion that he has been teasing was coming to the promotion.

Damian Priest was revealed as the mystery former world champion and stated that he is here to stay in Lucha Libre AAA.

While he is currently one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown, Priest could become a major presence on AAA in the coming weeks and months.

Priest reuniting with Bad Bunny would make for a special moment and could be saved for one of the important shows coming up for the promotion.

2. Teaming With El Grande Americano Against Los Perros Del Mal

On the June 20 episode of AAA on FOX, Los Perros Del Mal made their return to the company with an assault on El Grande Americano.

The group now consists of Daga, Karmen Petrovic, Angel, Berto and Bronco Nima who are all hellbent to take over AAA.

Americano now finds himself outnumbered by this new threat to Lucha Libre AAA and may need some backup against this force.

Considering the threat they are to everyone in AAA, Bad Bunny could team with El Grande to take on Los Perros moving forward.

1. Showdown With Dominik Mysterio

Back in 2023, it looked like WWE was teasing a potential matchup between Dominik Mysterio and Bad Bunny.

While ‘Dirty Dom’ was feuding with his father Rey Mysterio, Bunny found himself battling Damian Priest at the WWE Backlash 2023 premium live event.

Now all these years later, Bunny making his way to Lucha Libre AAA could open the door for a showdown with Mysterio.

‘Dirty Dom’ defending the AAA Mega Title against Bunny would make for a massive high profile title clash that could headline any event in Mexico in the coming weeks and months.
