At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Becky Lynch defeated AJ Lee to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Enjoying her third reign as Intercontinental Champion, Lynch will have plenty of established and new stars coming for her gold.
Lynch defending her title against former champions and recently called up talent from NXT would be very interesting and create fresh new matchups on Monday Night Raw moving forward.
Here are seven potential Becky Lynch new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title challengers.
7. Lyra Valkyria

Lyra Valkyria’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title run was ended by Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank 2025
In 2025, Becky Lynch made her return to WWE at WrestleMania 41 and teamed with Lyra Valkyria to defeat The Judgment Day to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
After losing the titles back to Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, Lynch turned on Valkyria and then became embroiled in a months-long rivalry over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Lynch won the gold from Valkyria at WWE Money In The Bank and elevated the title alongside each other over the course of their feud.
While their feud was just last year, Becky could rekindle her story with Lyra and try to give a more fitting conclusion that will start off this third reign on the right note.
6. Bayley

Bayley missed WrestleMania 41 as a result of a backstage attack from Becky Lynch
Another individual who Becky Lynch has feuded with over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship last year is Bayley.
Two of the Four Horsewomen, Bayley and Becky have plenty of history with another over the past decade plus.
With their longstanding rivalry, Bayley could put herself back into title contention and knows the champion more than most.
Bayley and Becky clashing over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship could once again elevate the title in a significant way.
5. Nattie

Nattie eliminated Becky Lynch from the Women’s WWE Royal Rumble
Back at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Nattie made a statement when she eliminated Becky Lynch from the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
The Hart Family member made it clear that she wanted a shot at the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
However, Nattie has not challenged for the gold all these months later and will be hungry to put herself back into contention.
Nattie challenging Becky would make for a compelling battle between these two living legends of women’s wrestling over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title.
4. Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez has won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles five times, but has yet to win a singles title on the main roster
Over the past few months, Raquel Rodriguez has been hungry for championship gold on Monday Night Raw.
This led to Rodriguez becoming a perennial challenger for the WWE Women’s World Championship when Stephanie Vaquer held the title.
The Judgment Day member should still be on the hunt for gold despite Liv Morgan now holding the top prize for the Raw women’s division following WrestleMania 42.
Wanting to bring another title to her faction, Rodriguez could come after Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship next and try to win her first singles title on the main roster that way.
3. Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez left WWE NXT with two NXT Women’s Championship reigns under her belt
Speaking of The Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez has been a member of the group since being called up to the WWE main roster in 2025.
It did not take much time before “The Prodigy” got her hands on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
Now that she is back from an injury layoff, Perez could find herself back in title contention to attempt to win her first singles title on the main roster stage.
Perez challenging Becky Lynch could make for an interesting first time encounter as the 24 year old tries to bring the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title back to The Judgment Day.
2. IYO SKY

IYO SKY missed out on the WrestleMania 42 card, one year after retaining her Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 41
There is no question that IYO SKY is not only one of the best in-ring performers in the women’s division but in all of WWE today.
After several reigns as a world champion, SKY might want to add yet another achievement to her long list of accolades.
“The Genius of the Sky” could find herself as a top contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship now that she is solo on Monday Night Raw.
IYO facing off with Becky Lynch could make for a main event matchup that would further elevate the title on WWE Raw moving forward.
1. Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca confronted WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on the Raw after WrestleMania 42
On the April 20 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42, Sol Ruca made her official main roster debut.
After confronting and facing off with WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion has immediately shown what she is worth and the potential that she possesses.
Facing off with a living legend like Becky Lynch, Ruca will only learn further and continue her ascent up the ladder in WWE.
With everything she has gained from her four-year run on NXT, Sol seems more than ready for the limelight and could make for a formidable opponent for Becky as a new challenger for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
