There are some exciting new WWE NXT stars set to bring their talents forward after a mass departure due to call-ups to the main roster.

With a number of call-ups to Raw and SmackDown confirmed, there will be space on the roster for new stars to debut and existing characters to expand.

Here are six new WWE NXT stars that will be able to replace the call-ups in top storylines in the near future.

6. Cappuccino Jones

One standout from WWE Evolve that could end up making a major name for himself on NXT this year is Cappuccino Jones.

An indie darling that fans already have an indelible connection with, Jones could find himself on the NXT roster soon.

After already having an impressive run in WWE Evolve, Cappuccino Jones could become a major player in the future of NXT on The CW.

With the natural progression from WWE Evolve to NXT a path that has already been taken by Sean Legacy, Jones could be the next big name from Evolve that lands on NXT in a big way.

5. Nikkita Lyons

A familiar face that could be poised to bring a big presence to NXT in the coming months might be Nikkita Lyons.

While Lyons is no newcomer to NXT – having debuted back in 2021 – she could be poised to make a impact soon.

Having taken on a bigger role of late in Evolve, Lyons may be ready to make a return to the NXT roster to steal the show.

Potentially set to fill in for the role vacated by Blake Monroe for a powerful heel force, Lyons had a recent match at an NXT live event against Tatum Paxley for the North American Championship that could be a sign of things to come.

4. Tate Wilder

One potential source for some of NXT’s latest top talent could be the contestants on the brand new season of the reality competition series, WWE LFG.

Making an impact in WWE Evolve already, Tate Wilder has demonstrated impressive in-ring abilities.

Set to appear on season three of WWE LFG, the impressive star is set to bring his skills to the A&E show as well.

Definitely a contender to watch in the future, Wilder could bring his exciting skills to NXT TV soon.

3. Sloane Jacobs

After being previously released by WWE and returning to the indies under her Notorious Mimi name, another familiar face is headed back to the WWE developmental process.

Sloane Jacobs has signed a WWE ID deal after a previous stint in NXT back in 2022.

Joining NXT alongside other notable newcomers at the time like Roxanne Perez, Kiana James, Fallon Henley, Thea Hail, Sol Ruca and Arianna Grace amongst others, this time returning with more indie experience, the 23 year old star could be a major player in NXT soon.

Bringing new energy to the slightly depleted NXT women’s division with the recent series of big character call-ups like Ruca, Fatal Influence and Blake Monroe, Jacobs would fit right in.

2. Ahmed Essam

Egyptian MMA champion Ahmed Essam signed with WWE in March 2026

With a recent group of new signings joining the NXT developmental program recruited from international tryouts, new faces could be arriving soon.

One such signee is Ahmed Essam, an amateur wrestler who boasts an impressive resume of wins around the world.

Bringing charisma and an impressive physique in addition to MMA experience, Essam could become a top singles competitor in the near future.

Others recently announced to be signed to NXT include German CrossFit athlete Delia Schweizer, and Ellen Akesson, a National Arm Wrestling Champion and strongwoman competitor from Sweden.

1. Lizzy Rain

The former Rayne Leverkusen – now named Lizzy Rain – is poised to make her NXT debut on April 28 with the UK indie star is bringing her skills to The CW.

Able to be presented as a big character to fill the void for a top babyface on the brand, Rain could immediately tangle with the likes of Zaria or Izzi Dame.

Poised to become a big part of the storylines moving forward, the NXT women’s division is in something of a rebuilding phase that suits Rain coming in.

With a unique look and ability to have a big presentation from her debut, Lizzy Rain could become a brand new face of NXT.
