NXT group Fatal Influence – Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid – appeared on tonight’s April 24 edition of SmackDown.
UPDATE 2: Later during SmackDown, Jacy Jayne had a match against WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, which ended via DQ when Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid attacked Ripley.
UPDATE: Blake Monroe was announced as “coming soon” to SmackDown as well. Also, Ricky Saints debuts next week.
During tonight’s show, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige came out to the ring to celebate their title win at WrestleMania and Paige’s return to the company.
They were interrupted by the team of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, setting up an impromptu tag team match that took place straight after.
However, the match came to an abrupt end when the Fatal Influence trio stormed the ring and took out everyone involved, before saying they’re going to take over SmackDown.
This looks to be the latest in a growing list of NXT call-ups after Ethan Page, Sol Ruca and Joe Hendry’s moves to Raw earlier this week.
Jayne is a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Gigi Dolin. During her partnership with Dolin, Jayne did actually have a couple of matches on SmackDown back in August and September 2022.
Henley is a former NXT Women’s North American Champion and a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Kiana James.
Reid joined Fatal Influence when she replaced Jazmyn Nyx in the group upon her WWE departure in September 2025.
This segment came about after Tiffany Stratton had just defeated Giulia to become WWE Women’s United States Champion on tonight’s SmackDown as well.
Stratton beat Jordynne Grace last week to become #1 contender.
Massive Potential For All Of Fatal Influence
It’s been apparent for multiple years now that Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley have a very impressive level of potential when it comes to making it to the WWE main roster, as noted by both of them having multiple title reigns in NXT.
The dark horse in the equation is Lainey Reid, who is much newer to WWE and wrestling in general than Jayne than Henley but has shown an incredible aptitude for the in-ring side of things so far in her career.
The likes of Jayne and Tatum Paxley have praised Reid and how she’s really made wrestling her life and is deserving of the position that she’s in as a result of that.
