WWE Raw Stars To Join NXT WWE

Over the past few years, there have been various WWE Raw and SmackDown talents who have joined NXT for a new lease of life in the company.

Looking at the current WWE Raw roster, there are a variety of different names who could make an impact on the NXT brand.

From those in the tag team division, to longstanding established veterans, some WWE Raw stars could help fill in the void left behind in NXT by the recent callups of Fatal Influence, Sol Ruca, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Blake Monroe and Joe Hendry.

Here are eight WWE Raw stars to potentially join NXT.

8. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa)

Alpha Academy have been one of the most enduring tag teams currently on the WWE main roster.

Otis and Akira Tozawa often get some of the biggest reactions whenever they appear on the company’s programming.

Whether it be Otis’ innate charisma or Tozawa’s speed, the crowd always connects with Alpha Academy whenever they are on television.

While their roles on WWE Raw have become diminished quite a bit, Alpha Academy could have a huge impact on NXT and help to further establish the tag team scene in a major way.

7. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed)

The Creed Brothers were once breakout stars in the NXT tag team division when they first appeared as members of the Diamond Mine faction.

Julius and Brutus Creed immediately showcased their amateur wrestling background in tag team competition and would eventually become NXT Tag Team Champions.

Their stint on NXT did not last too long before they were called to the WWE main roster in 2022.

While they came in with plenty of expectations, The Creeds have not been able to achieve much success, which might lead to another stint on NXT where they can regain their momentum.

6. Ivy Nile

Speaking of The Creed Brothers, they have been closely aligned with Ivy Nile since their days in Diamond Mine.

In 2024, the trio joined American Made alongside the leadership of Chad Gable. However, Gable has since become The Original El Grande Americano and has left them behind.

While Nile has been able to try different things like bodybuilding, there needs to be some progression in her pro wrestling career.

Nile going back to WWE NXT would make some sense and could help the women’s division working with the talent on the rise on the brand.

5. LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro)

Another tag team who could get more consistent TV time on WWE NXT is the LWO.

Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro have made for an exciting pair whenever they have appeared on WWE TV or anywhere else.

Most recently, Wilde has been appearing in Lucha Libre AAA in the tag team and as a singles star.

With the NXT tag team division needing more talent, The LWO would be a veteran duo who could become top contenders for the tag titles moving forward.

4. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

At the start of 2025, The War Raiders were sitting atop of the Raw tag team scene as the World Tag Team Champions.

Erik and Ivar have made for one of the most impressive duos for a long time, but after losing the World Tag Team Titles, The War Raiders were not consistently featured.

As of late, The War Raiders have been appearing in Lucha Libre AAA and have become contenders for the tag team titles.

The War Raiders heading back to WWE NXT would be huge for the tag team scene and would make them a tough test for the likes of The Vanity Project and Darkstate.

3. Los Americanos (El Grande, Rayo & Bravo Americano)

Over the past few months, Los Americanos have been appearing across multiple brands.

While they remain members of the Raw roster, El Grande Americano, Rayo and Bravo Americano have been regular parts of the red brand, Lucha Libre AAA and NXT.

Los Americanos usually garner loud reactions from the crowd in AAA as well as NXT, so it would make sense if they are primarily featured there.

Making the permanent jump to NXT, Los Americanos could find themselves in line for another shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships after coming up short against The Vanity Project at Stand & Deliver 2026.

2. Maxxine Dupri

At the end of 2025, Maxxine Dupri captured the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch.

This reign would subsequently end at the hands of “The Man” in January, but Dupri learned a lot from this rivalry.

After losing her feud with Nattie, Dupri has not appeared officially on Monday Night Raw over the past month.

Maxxine returning to WWE NXT would make sense for her to garner more experience before making her way back to the main roster sometime down the line.

1. Nattie

Speaking of Maxxine Dupri, Nattie played the role of her mentor and then rival over the past few years.

The Hart Family member underwent a character change to start 2026, showing off a more no-nonsense attitude and unfiltered aggression as of late.

While it seemed like that would lead to more opportunities on the main roster, this hasn’t quite translated as of yet.

Nattie making the move to WWE NXT could see her using the years of experience she has to help develop talent like Kendal Grey, Kali Armstrong or Izzi Dame.
