Botches Of The Week (February 2, 2020)

1. Cutting Edge

In case you missed it, Edge made his comeback to WWE after what was thought to be a career-ending neck injury.

Retirement and wrestling go together like arsenic and chips so The Rated R Superstar made his in-ring return at Royal Rumble to a deafening reaction and a…cut to the crowd.

Ziggler summed up the thoughts of thousands watching around the world:

2. Nor-Folking Around

A while ago, my friend Tom Campbell mocked Justin Roberts’ pronunciation of Kip Sabian’s home-town of Norfolk.

Jimmy & Kip clearly loved this bit so much that it’s now part of the AEW Kayfabe as seen in this twitter video:

You’re welcome everyone.

3. 6-1-Spine

MVP made his Raw return after nearly a decade to wrestle Rey Mysterio.

You could tell it had been a while as MVP appeared to forget how to take the 619 and took it on the back as he quickly remembered “oh yeah right” and Rey finished the match with a glancing blow.
