Cody Rhodes’ Hell In A Cell Miracle: 3 Pros & 3 Cons

Pro 3 – Delivered Advertised Main Event

A lot of people were quick to jump on WWE for clearing Rhodes before he admitted it was all on him, but I always assumed that was the case, because WWE has made quite the habit of changing their announced main events.

Most recently back at SummerSlam last year, WWE continued to announce Sasha Banks for her match, right up until she was set to enter. I could easily have seen WWE doing the same thing with an injured Cody.

Thankfully, Cody was able to deliver the main event for all the little Codesters who paid to see him, and WWE delivered the main event as advertised, and didn’t let everybody down by forcing a change to the main event unannounced.
