WWE
On the October 2 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes will face Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano in the final Men’s Money In The Bank qualifying match.
While Rhodes and Owens will try to become a champion again, Gargano is looking for the briefcase to win the first WWE world title of his career.
Considering there is one more spot in the matchup, fans can expect all three men to fight with everything they have to get the chance to compete in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
With all three having a shot, it’s time to take a look at who is most and least likely to qualify for WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
Least likely to qualify: Cody Rhodes

Since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship in the summer, Cody Rhodes has been on the hunt to get back into title contention.
While he has had to deal with Randy Orton in recent months, Rhodes has an opportunity here to get back to the gold.
Considering his record, Rhodes would seem like he has as good of a chance as anyone to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
However, Cody’s feud with Orton might prevent him from capitalizing on this chance.
Johnny Gargano
On the September 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, CM Punk defeated Johnny Gargano to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Ever since then, “Johnny Wrestling” has found himself in the title contention.
After weeks of back and forth, the current champion Sami Zayn got him this opportunity with a chance to own the Money In The Bank briefcase.
While he does not have the best chance to win, Gargano could sneak his way to victory against Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.
Most likely to qualify: Kevin Owens

Looking at the field, Kevin Owens feels like the most likely to move on to New Orleans at WWE Money In The Bank 2026.
“The Prizefighter” has been in hot pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship since his return at SummerSlam 2026.
Most recently, CM Punk cost Owens the title when he faced Sami Zayn for the gold on the September 18 Friday Night SmackDown.
Now with Punk qualified for Money In The Bank, it only would be right if KO joins the field and tries to win as well as prevent “The Best In The World” from getting back to the championship himself.
