Info: The WWF Title underwent a significant change in 1988, peaking in beauty with the ‘Winged Eagle’. This was the first of the designs, which debuted on that episode of Main Event where Andre beat Hogan. The differences are so subtle you may not even realize there were two versions. The first is the strap, which is dark navy rather than black. The second is the accents. The original had silver on the side plates and behind the eagle.
