Major title changes after WWE Money in the Bank 2026: Three championships that could change hands before the end of the year

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 will be a night where careers could change forever; not only for the winners of the two ladder matches but also those challenging for titles elsewhere on the card.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight will be battling it out in the show’s main event for the World Heavyweight Title, and other championship matches could yet be added to the card.

Whether we see any titles changing hands on the night or not, we will likely see many new champions crowned in the aftermath of the event as there are still three major PLEs on the docket for WWE before 2027 comes around.

Here are three championships that could change hands before the end of 2026.

Liv Morgan wins back Women’s World Title only to be cashed in on by Roxanne Perez

The first potential major title change is actually a two-for-one, as we could very well see Liv Morgan win back her Women’s World Title from Stephanie Vaquer, only to be immediately cashed-in on by fellow Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez.

‘The Prodigy’ is considered one of the favorites to win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, primarily because of the possibility of a Judgment Day betrayal that could follow it.

Perez and Morgan had their problems earlier in the year but WWE dropped the angle; now feels like the right time to revisit it.

Kevin Owens finally claims Undisputed WWE Title by beating Sami Zayn

After years of consistency and lengthy title reigns, the Undisputed WWE Title picture has been quite frenetic and unpredictable in 2026.

Sami Zayn has now begun settling into his second reign as champion after his first was ended after just nine days, however, it would take a brave man to bet on “The Last Real Good Guy” keeping that gold through until the end of the year.

There are plenty of candidates to take the gold off of Zayn, with Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and even Finn Balor seeming like decent bets to get the job done. However, given Owens and Zayn’s history and how close “The Prizefighter” has come to recapturing the gold since his return, the cathartic title win would be if he ends Sami’s WWE Championship run.

Tiffany Stratton betrays Chelsea Green and wins Interim WWE Women’s Title

While Roxanne Perez cashing in Money in the Bank on Liv Morgan makes for a great story, there is another option on the table.

Tiffany Stratton still has to qualify, but if she does, she has the opportunity to not only become the first two-time women’s Money in the Bank winner, but also stab her best friend in the back with her subsequent cash-in.

Chelsea Green has already shown concern about Money in the Bank, but not about the prospect of Stratton winning, as she seems to believe that her friend will target the Women’s World Title instead of her WWE Women’s Championship.

We know that’s very rarely how these things however, a betrayal and cash-in on Green would make for the more memorable moment, establish Stratton as a heel for the first time in years and set her up for a future showdown with Rhea Ripley once she returns from her knee injury; all while ramping up the sympathy and fan support for Chelsea Green.
