WWE/AEW
On June 30, a new report circulated that Big Bill (Big Cass) was set to leave AEW and join WWE when his contract expires.
With a return to where he made his name in the pipeline, it could further open the door for other AEW stars to follow in his footsteps in the months and years to come.
From former champions to up-and-coming talent needing a new scenery to explore, there are several other names on the AEW roster who can make an impact in WWE.
Here are seven more AEW stars to potentially join WWE after Big Cass.
7. Jack Perry
When All Elite Wrestling was first created in 2019, Jack Perry became one of the top names from the independent scene that the promotion brought in.
Becoming a Day-One signing, Perry was one of the “Four Pillars,” a former TNT Champion, former AEW World Tag Team Champion and former National Champion.
Considered to be one of the more decorated AEW originals, it has been surprising to see Perry’s contract set to expire and no word on if he will re-sign with the company.
Perry deciding to go to WWE would be very interesting and could put him on the path to the top of the industry in the biggest promotion.
6. Anna Jay

Anna Jay made her return to in-ring action on the May 2 episode of AEW Collision against Willow Nightingale
Speaking of Jack Perry, his real life girlfriend Anna Jay is another star who has had their contract status in the news as of late.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Jay has been someone with a ton of potential and needing the right opportunity to shine.
Whether it be in singles action or alongside Tay Melo in tag team competition, Jay has proven herself to be tough and determined to make her mark any way she can.
Anna Jay making the choice to sign with WWE would be a significant one that could help either Raw, SmackDown or NXT in the women’s division moving forward.
5. Scorpio Sky
Another name from the AEW roster that has found themselves in the headlines for their contract status is Scorpio Sky.
In another case of an AEW original, Sky has been with the company since its inception in 2019.
Over the course of the past seven years. Scorpio is a former two-time TNT Champion and one half of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions.
After spending that long with the promotion and considering his inconsistent usage in AEW as of late, it would make sense for Sky to sign with WWE if he becomes a free agent later this year.
4. HOOK

HOOK turned heel and joined The Opps at AEW Full Gear 2025
An AEW star who previously found themselves in the midst of speculation regarding their future is HOOK.
In 2025, it was revealed that HOOK’s contract was set to expire and WWE had interest in bringing the second-generation star into the fold.
The former three-time FTW Champion has gotten a strong start in his career with AEW, but he might also need some seasoning that WWE can offer.
Whether it be at the end of his current deal with AEW that he signed last year or due to more rare reasons, HOOK signing with WWE would be fitting considering his father Taz’s history with the company.
3. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
One of the signature AEW tag teams since the creation of the promotion has been Private Party.
Over the company’s history, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been one of the top duos and former AEW World Tag Team Champions.
After making their return to AEW in February, Private Party looked to find their footing in the company again, but both Quen and Kassidy suffered injuries that have them sidelined at the moment.
Whenever they are ready to make their return, it seems possible Private Party might make the decision to leave All Elite Wrestling and head to WWE.
2. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

Britt Baker won the inaugural AEW Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in 2023 and held the AEW Women’s World Title for 290 days in 2021/2022.
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was the first female star to sign with All Elite Wrestling and has become one of the biggest homegrown stars in the company’s history.
Despite making her return in June 2024, it just be a matter of months before Baker was once again sidelined and written off of television.
After nearly two years away from AEW, Baker could see her future outside of the promotion moving forward.
Baker heading to WWE would be intriguing to see how she matches up with the top stars in the women’s division upon signing.
1. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)
Two of the biggest names on the AEW roster that have been rumored to have interest from WWE are FTR.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have cemented themselves as one of the greatest tag teams of their generation.
FTR are former three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions, ROH World Tag Team Champions, AAA World Tag Team Champions and IWGP Tag Team Champions.
With all of these accomplishments, it makes sense for FTR to want to go back to WWE to complete some unfinished business with the company in the near future.
