AEW
AEW star Anna Jay has addressed her current contract status and rumors surrounding her future that been going around online.
Jay has been largely absent from AEW TV as of late, not wrestling since November 2025, and not working on Dynamite specifically since June 2025.
However, her return has been announced for this weekend’s episode of AEW Collision, where she challenges Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship.
Nightingale has recently taken on the nickname ‘The Comeback Killer,’ with the idea being that she’s on a streak of winning matches against talents making their returns.
On her Twitch stream today, Jay addressed her AEW contract situation, confirming that her contract is coming up soon, but stating that a lot of other stuff people may have seen online isn’t true.
Anna Jay AEW Contract Update
She said:
“It’s not a big deal, but just a lot of stuff going on online that you guys have been seeing. A lot of it is not true.
“I guess allegedly the source was someone I used to work with, and he no longer is working for me as of a few months ago. So I don’t know exactly if that’s true or not but it apparently came from him.
“The only thing out of everything that’s been posted that’s true is just that my contract is coming up, but that is it.
“That’s it. Not a big deal. Everything else that you guys have seen is pretty much BS.”

With her contract coming up, there have been natural rumors about the possibility of Jay making the move to WWE NXT, but nothing concrete has emerged in that regard as of yet.
