AEW World Champion Darby Allin wore his title belt around his waist for his latest stunt with Travis Pastrana.
Darby Allin won the AEW World Championship on the April 15 Dynamite: Spring BreakThru show, defeating MJF in just over two minutes following four consecutive Coffin Drop and a headlock takeover.
AEW has now shared a video of the new titleholder visiting motocross, rally racing, NASCAR and stunt performing legend Travis Pastrana at Pastranaland for his latest stunt.
In the video – which you can watch below or at this link – Allin and Pastrana create a makeshift buggy with handlebars attached to the roof.
The end of the video showed Allin holding onto the handlebars, with his AEW World Championship belt around his waist, as the buggy completed a stunt jump.
The video ended with Pastrana congratulating the AEW World Champion, stating that he lives to fight another day.
With this video coming from AEW’s official accounts, it appears that the company is more than happy for Allin to continue performing his stunts away from the ring, while literally holding the company’s world title.
Allin last wrestled on the April 22 Dynamite episode, defeating Tommaso Ciampa in his first defense of the AEW World Championship.
Prior to his title win, Darby Allin addressed his absence from the AEW World Championship picture, naming Sting’s retirement year and his Mount Everest climb as previous focuses which he prioritised in the years between AEW World Title matches.
Allin has also state that he would “absolutely” climb Mount Everest again, after reaching the peak in May 2025.
With Allin defending the TNT Championship on an almost-weekly basis during previous reigns with that title, fans would welcome a similar schedule for world title defenses.
